Kiradech Aphibarnrat was doing fine by the time he reached Hole 10. Sharing the lead, if I’m not mistaken, with Ryan Moore and Gary Woodland. something like that but anyway, he was up there.
His tee shot went to right rough, among the trees. Played it back into the fairway; 2nd Shot; no problem. Now for just a routine 3rd Shot onto the green. And two putts for Par.
But that didn’t happen. He put his 3rd shot into the bunker. 4th shot was ok but was some feet up past the hole, for a slightly downhill Par putt.
But that, too, didn’t happen.
Yes, wasn’t that lucky. He couldn’t convert that putt.
What a wonderful story it could have been if he had saved Par there.
