How the (golf) world order has changed

Martin Kaymer became golf’s No. 1 last February. Yes, not Tiger Woods, not Phil Mickleson. But Mr Kaymer’s reign lasted only a short time: he lost it last Sunday.

On that day, the new top gun would have been Luke Donald, but the guy lost that chance on the final day and then in the play-off at The Heritage, so fellow Englishman Lee Westwood became the new No. 1 when he won the Indonesian Masters.

Aaahh…how the world order has changed. It used to be the No. 1 belonged to Tiger Woods, with others scrambling for the No. 2, No. 3 and so on.
